Filip Tilleman is the partner in charge of the employment law team at Agio. He has more than 30 years of expertise in the most complex employment law matters across all economic sectors. He started his career in labour law under the wings of Thierry Claeys and also became a partner in the labour law department at Loeff Claeys Verbeke (now Allen & Overy). Later, together with Herman Van Hoogenbemt, he founded the reputed employment law boutique Tilleman Vanhoogenbemt Advocaten. Filip is known by his clients for his tremendous drive and short, powerful and practical advice.
Years of loyal customers include Europcar and Dupont de Nemours. He is an inspired speaker on employment law topics at NCOI, IFBD, among others.
Filip is the author of several books, including Werkpocket, a handy guide to employment law for employer and employee (published by Lannoo Campus and Randstad).
He studied at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven where he obtained his law degree and also at ULB where he obtained a special degree in economic law.
