Koen Clonen started his career at the Antwerp bar in 2005 after a previous career within the Federal Judicial Police. He specialises in commercial law, company and liability law and contract law in a broad business context. In addition, Koen has particular expertise in public procurement, disciplinary and (business) criminal law.
As a liquidator, he has a good knowledge of insolvency and restructuring.
Education and experience
Koen obtained a master's degree in law at the University of Brussels. He also completed several additional training courses, such as a master's degree in Company Law (KU Leuven), a Postgraduate Course in Family Business Adviser (KU Leuven), a Postgraduate Course in Curator-Liquidator (KUL/UA), a Master Class in Purchasing Management and Public Procurement (AMS) and various additional (business economic) training courses, including business economics and mergers & acquisitions at the University of Antwerp Management School (now AMS).
