Margot joined the Antwerp Bar in 2015. She started her career at Nardis advocaten before joining Agio in September 2016. Margot mainly focuses on litigation and assists and advises both individuals and companies in various proceedings before the courts and tribunals. She mainly handles files in criminal law, company law and Corporate Law with a particular interest in restructuring and assisting companies in difficulty (through (extra)judicial reorganization proceedings). Margot has the necessary language skills to speak to you in Dutch, French and English.
Training
Margot Van Looy studied law at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and during her studies focused on criminal law. Her master’s thesis was on the assistance of lawyers to minors in criminal cases, tested against Human Rights
